I know you don't want to divulge too much, but were you really able to be 'creative' in your Creative Writing course, or did you feel boxed in? Or maybe it was a bit of both?

Sure, there was plenty of room for creativity. I wouldn't say that I was trapped in a box of any sort. My negative feelings were tied to a sense of futility, like no matter how much work I did I'd never get it just right, so why bother working at all? I've gotten over that.
